I have acne scars…they aren’t gaping holes or anything…but they bother me…I’m tired of having to wear makeup all the time & I’d like to clear them up. I’ve tried an acne scar peel but that didn’t work too well.

I have several raised acne scars around my nose & cheek. I wonder if anyone apply anything that works for them like elicina, mederma, etc… If it takes 2 years or more to see result, I don’t mind, as long as it can get rid of the raised scars. BTW, there is no redness or anything, just raised acne. And plz, I just want answer from people with experiences only because I already read alot of information online.

well..i haven’t had severe acne…but when i do get a bump..it’s those kind of deep in-bumps..and if anyone has had them..you know that’s the worst you can get..you just have to wait for it to go away on it’s own..and well..those kind of bumps causes scarring on me..and nothing has helped yet..and i was wondering if anyone knows if Proactive helps remove those scars as well as acne..

I have ice pick acne scars & I was wondering what you can use to make it fade, or be less visible. (besides the really expensive microdermabrasion )

you could try these:
1. put honey on scar & leave for 10 mins & wash off
2. put lemon juice on cotton ball & pat on scar & leave for 15 min & wash off
3. put vitamin e oil on scars & do daily , can also pop open vitamin e capsules & rub on
4. slice a cucumber & leave on skin after 15 mins wash off
5. take a tea spoon of baking soda & 2 teaspoon of water & mix then rub on skin for 1 min & wash off then put on some olive oil
6. leave ice on scars for 2 mins every 30 mins
7. rub on tea tree oil & leave on
8. egg whites also help, rub on scars & leave on for 20 mins & wash off
9. cut an aloe tree leaf & put the juice on the scars then let dry naturally & wash off
10. Buy a bottle of bio oil & rub on scars & leave. This maybe not suitable for face
11. You can also buy a tube of Mederma. Rub on scars & leave. Rub on 4-6 times a day
12. Silicone sheets are an effective way to remove scars put a sheet & leave on scars
13. You can use coco butter or coco butter cream. Rub on scars & leave on
14. Garlic can improve the look of scars. Rub raw garlic & leave for about 15 mins & wash off
15. Rub on lavender oil & leave on
16. Slice a tomato & leave on skin for 15 mins & wash off
17. Slice a potato & rub on skin after 15 mins wash off
18. A easy way to improve scars is to drink up to 8 glasses of water every day
19. Sandal wood helps scars heal. Make a paste with sandal wood & rose water mix & leave on scars for 20 mins then wash off
20. You can also massage the scars with oil. This helps remover the scar tissue below the scar
21. You can also exfoliate with a mild soap then wash off
22. If you have acne or pimples its best not to pop them because that’s how you create a scar.
23. Another effective but slow way is to put pure olive oil on the scars & leave on
24. You can also buy some whitening cream & rub on the scars. This process will lighten the scars & make the scar less noticeable
25. Mash a banana & leave on skin for 15 mins & wash off
26. Eat healthy foods instead of fatty foods this can help the skin heal faster
27. You can rub jojoba oil on the scar & leave on
28. Buy a bottle of rose hip oil & rub on the scars

I’ve gotten rid of my acne but it has left some ugly scars. How do you get rid of them?

i have a whole bunch of acne scars & i have no clue how to get rid of them & i don’t wanna buy ANY products!!!
also,, i have a little bit of acne , the only products i have for that is some clean & clear, & acne free & some sort of gel. i don’t wana buy any products!! so whats other ways to get rid of it, the scars mostly? FAST!

I have a lot of acne scars & some sun spots on my face & I want to get rid of them. Any suggestions on the best way to do that without spending a lot of money. But I want something that actually works (microdermabration, face lotion, etc.).

You could also treat the acne on your back by using a cleanser containing salicyclic acid & apply medicines containing benzoyl peroxide.
Other things that would do you good are:
1. Before getting dressed make sure your back is completely dry
2. Apply sunscreen before exposing your back
3. Try using clay masks to remove dirt from deep inside
4. Inflammatory acne can be treated by antibiotics, topical retinoids & also by injecting cortisone
5. Try to avoid hot & clammy surroundings & also stay away from cooking as well, as the grease from the cooking can aggravate blackheads & clogged pores leading to further acne.
Following these tips regularly should effectively counter your back acne problem however if it still persists, visiting your dermatologist is the best option

There are types of face washes that may help with acne, oil, etc. You can try it, though it may no work. For acne scars? Well mederma & vitamin e oil or something helps with scars of all kinds. you can try those too!

Mederma & Strivectin are both really good products that can help scars.

There is something called Scar Solution. There may be other brands, too. It is a silicone-based bandage type thing. A box is slightly pricey (I forget, maybe $10 or $20), but you can wash the bandages & put them right back on quite a few times. And you can cut the bandages to the size you want (they are self sticking).
These claim to reduce the appearance of scars after many weeks of wear…even if they scar is old. They are supposed to work best on raised scars, though. I had some facial surgery & asked at my dermatologist’s office if they worked. One doctor thought they did, another thought they didn’t make much of a difference. I used them when my surgery was healing…don’t know if it made a difference, but it healed pretty good…can’t really see a scar.

Im 16. I have no idea about make up seeing as I am a boy.. but I want to hide my acne scars & I am fine wearing it if it helps hide them for now.
I want my skin to be smooth & perfect, so how do I use it? It’s a foundation, I know that much. Will it help? And if so do I have to use concealer too? Im confused :S
