Concealer Answers

So i often get my eyebrows waxed. I have since i was 12. And I tend to break out around the eyebrow area. And now I have red acne scar spots. My worse area is between my 2 eyebrows. I’ve tried a lot of concealers to try to hide it. I’ve try a few products. Can some one please tell me what I can do to either conceal my acne scars or a few products that will make it fade a way? Names & home DIY tricks are welcome!

okay. so my skin use to be really bad. but i got medicine from the doctor. & yadayadayada.
anyway.
i still have some blemishes & i cover those up & NO PROBLEM & like im not so much embarrassed by those
im more embarrassed by the scarring i have.
its like redish spots on my face
those show up in pictures more then my pimples!
and its bugging me.
i dont know how to cover them up
im currently using kat von d concealer
and it works amazing
but for some reason my acne scars show through

I need to know what is the best way of getting rid of acne scarring. Whenever i got a spot, it always left a mark for some reason & then it affected my nose the most but then slowly spread to my cheeks. What is the best treatment, i dont want to use laser treatment for the time being!

Depends on the peel. Some are more aggressive than others but they are all a form of exfoliant & will take off at least the top few layers. Depending on how deep your scars are & how strong the peel will your results be.

I have significant acne scarring & some current acne spots on my cheeks & chin. I’m looking for a full coverage concealer to really hide these problem areas. Ive tried dozens & I’m looking for opinions. I would like the drugstore prices better, but I’m open to trying a high-quality department store brand as well. Ive noticed that the more liquidy concealers are great for under my eyes, but just don’t cut it on the hard-to-cover scarring. Other types can end up looking cakey too. I’m kind of stuck. Any suggestions ? Thank you!

What is the best way to remoce/fade old acne scars? without any kind of facial peels.
Also can anything be done for freckles/sunspots etc?.

okay so i want to buy a mac concealer but i dont know which concealer is the best for hiding acne scarring/blemishes. Help?

maybe u arent applying it right but u also have to use the right make up that gives u the right coverge …i also have some acne scaring i think u should se the concelear that is the shade of ur skin not the yellow one it doesnt work good i personally recomend maybelline concealer u can choose ur shade of skin i use light becuz im really light so thats a tip …hope i helped

I have the same problem. I went to the dermatologist, & now that alot of my acne is going away, my dermatologist is going to be doing a “skin peel” where they put some kind of cream on it & then it goes away. Ask your parents to get you a doctor appointment with a dermatologist!

I would like to go to a doctor/salon that does this routinely on people with dark skin. My skin scars easiely, & when it does, it forms darker patches- I just need to make sure that this does not happen during the procedure. Help!

I used Bio Oil on my acne scars & it worked great.. After two months I could already notice the difference.. It really helps fade the marks left by acne

I have acne so severe that i can’t leave the house. It is very angry & i have it covering my entire face & neck. I have tried topical creams & can’t use them due to allergies, I also can’t take the pill because of side effects. To make matters worse I have tried antibotic minocycline but this rotted my teeth & I can no longer use it. I now have resigned myself to the fact I am 30 years old & stuck with it. I need to hide it when visitors come as I am extremely self concious. I need a concealer that is medicated & wont make my problems worse. Please help! I am not even living a half way normal life & would at least like to feel I look halfway normal whilst I’m stuck in my own home.

Yes it works very well. I know someone who has had it done & you would
never know she ever had scarring on her face.She’s AA & scarred
much darker than her natural skin tone. She was desperate b/c her
wedding was coming up.She looks beautiful now.
EDIT:The number of sessions would depend on the severity
of the scarring. Definitely more than one though.My friend—
4-5 sessions—it’s been awhile.

Is there a simple way to remove acne scarring?
As simple as daily scrubbing? Or, is there something easier?
