Concealer Answers

Use some rubbing alcohol & apply a VERY small amount on your pimple. And if you’re kinda embarrassed where some of your acne is appearing from, you can disguise it by use a Q-tip or cotton ball & apply it on. Oh & try this! Mix olive oil & salt together & apply it to your face. It really works! I know “oil” but trust me, it works. Don’t use products like Proactive…IT DOES NOT REALLY WORK! Oh & another way to zap pimples is toothpaste & shaving cream! Use toothpaste & apply it to your pimple & cover it up with a band-aid. Shaving cream works too, apply it on & your acne will dry up immediately….but don’t forget to wash your face even though it’s gone. Dab garlic juice on your face. It works too, & tries smashing an aspirin tablet & mixes some lemon juice with it & applies to your face daily. Don’t stress out & try to keep your hands & hair away from your face! I was thinking of getting laser surgery to remove these horrible acne scars from my nose. They make my face look 10 years older especially because I have a big nose.
But aside from that I was wonderin are there any risk? And will the surgery perminently remove the scars??

Every area of my skin except for my nose & chin… & sometimes around my lips… is PERFECT. I am absolutely pleased with most of my complexion. I have what I think are black heads & clogged pred on my nose… & I can’t seem to get them to go away. On my chin, its is always slightly red & oily & bumpy & pimples pop up every now & then. I have a problem covering up these areas with concealer. Anyone have any suggestions as how to treat these areas?????

I am 20 years old & I have some freckles on my arms & legs, & some on my face (im from FL =) ) On my nose I have 2 dark freckles that I am very self conscience about, im not sure why but when I look at myself in the mirror its the first thing I look at. I have makeup that I use on them but I would love to be able to be makeup free. Does anyone know any creams that will lighten them?

i’m 13 & i have no acne cheeks or forehead. but i have acne & acne scars around my mouth & nose & they are really bothering me because almost everybody in my class has clear skin but me.i need some fast & easy home remedies for clear & smooth skin.

What concealers do you guys recommend for someone with some minor scarring from acne, the rare zit at times, redness & little veins around nose & with oily skin? Whenever I use concealer on my nose, I find that after a few hours it sort of melts from the oils & sits around my pores… & just makes my skin look way worse & blotchy. I also have problems with concealer at times oxidizing after long hours (so turning a bit darker, although it’s not that noticeable). I’m fine with my dark circles, since I can use any concealer there or just foundation & not have to worry, but I’d like a nice concealer that will work REALLY well with oily skin & won’t cause more blackheads, whiteheads or acne.
Price isn’t a bit issue, although I’d rather not spend 40 dollars on concealer unless it lasts like 2 years. Any good department store brands would be best, such as from Sephora or maybe even MAC (I’ve been told there is a concealer by MAC that actually works on people with oily, acne prone skin without making them break out like crazy, & this claim honestly shocks me.)
any help would be greatly appreciated!
And also, for concealer brushes. the one I bought I think is too big & a big too rough.. What’s a good reasonably priced brush (preferably under 20 dollars, no more than 25 Canadian) that is big enough for under your eyes but small enough for acne & scars? And that is soft enough. Anyone tried Stila’s brush? Or that Wonder Brush by Urban Decay? both are in my price range but both seemed small for under the eyes.

I have tons of freckles on my cheeks & my nose. The once on my cheeks don’t bother me, but the ones on my nose are huge & dark. How do I get rid of them, I’ve searched everywhere & the lemon juice doesn’t work. Take this seriously! I don’t want my parents to find out that i am doing this. So im not going to get a torch, or laser treatment. I don’t want to buy anything like cream either. Ok? Thank YOU!
