Concealer Answers

well..i haven’t had severe acne…but when i do get a bump..it’s those kind of deep in-bumps..and if anyone has had them..you know that’s the worst you can get..you just have to wait for it to go away on it’s own..and well..those kind of bumps causes scarring on me..and nothing has helped yet..and i was wondering if anyone knows if Proactive helps remove those scars as well as acne..

All summer I haven’t taken my shirt off so I have horrible tan lines. I was thinking of lying on the trampoline shirtless, & cover my arms with towels & just lay there for a couple hours. At how many hours should I flip? I mean it’s like my abdomen is a ghost, & the rest in really tan! Should I do this or something else? I want to maintain my tan though. Tall dark & Handsome! How long should I tan & when should I flip are my main questions. Thank you

Im 16. I have no idea about make up seeing as I am a boy.. but I want to hide my acne scars & I am fine wearing it if it helps hide them for now.
I want my skin to be smooth & perfect, so how do I use it? It’s a foundation, I know that much. Will it help? And if so do I have to use concealer too? Im confused :S

A few months ago before i had sex with my boyfriend, he was like “nice tan line.” But it sounded kind of sarcastic. I tan naked in my back yard when my parents aren’t home, but is so hard not to get tan lines because it’s not like when me & my friends go to the beach & stuff I’m gonna tan naked. So, do guys mind tan lines?

I have many dark acne scars that seem to be blended into my original skin tone & my skin is somewhat uneven in tone, plus my skin is sensitive & dry. What can I do to correct this without going to a doctor? I have recently started getting medication from a doctor for acne & I don’t want to spend anymore money then I already have to for my face, atleast nothing drastically expensive, as several of my appointments & meds have cost me.

i used clean & clear acne spot treatment to remove a pimple between my eyes. the pimple eventually went away, but the acne product left a chemical burn on my skin. how do help my skin heal faster or remove this burn? i really don’t want it to scar especially since its on my face please help??

Im a guy & i wear concealer to cover up acne, as my acne does not get better i fear im going to run out of makeup. Does anyone have any tips on what to say when i buy more or even tips to get rid of acne?

Depends on the peel. Some are more aggressive than others but they are all a form of exfoliant & will take off at least the top few layers. Depending on how deep your scars are & how strong the peel will your results be.

Alright, so to give you a little review of my skin:
-Can sometimes be really dry. NEVER oily.
-A lot of hyper-pigmentation (acne scars).
So I was wondering if any of you know of a great foundation & concealer.
FULL coverage, please.
It can be drugstore or high end makeup.
I was thinking about Maybelline SuperStay 24 hour Foundation, is it a good one?

okay so im 14. & this is what i do everymorning.
1. wash my face with clean & clear morning burst.
2.mousturize my face with either aveeno, or marykay
3. apply neutrogena on the spot acnbe control. (I dont have acne, just a couple pimpes every once in a while)
4. Apply Covergirl Clean pressed powder with a powder brush all over my face, lightly covering it
5. Apply mac blush to the apples of my cheeks to add some colour
6. Put covergirl lash blast mascara on my top lashes
7. (sometimes apply concealer if needed)
Okay, so, I have dark brown hair, with dark brown eyes, & tanned skin. I dont know if i should be using a light foundation underneath this powder or what? I also need some tips to help my brown eyes look really pretty. Everyone says they absolutely love my eyes, & my eyelashes. but i want to look more pretty. & i want my skin to be flawless! should i be using this stuff? would it help my skin look more finished?

So I have acne (pimples & blackheads) & I decided that I was going to try & remove three little blackheads from my chin. I couldn’t remove them easily & my chin started bleeding. It would have been okay having three red dots on my face but then the area started peeling & now I have a big pink dot on my face with the other red dots (where the blackheads used to be). I look TERRIBLE & I need suggestions! I have already put triple antibiotic on & I’ll put aquafor on in a second. Do you guys think this thing will all scab over & leave a huge scab/scar? Please help!

ok, so im a 14 year old girl & i have the worst acne ever. im not exaggerating at all. my entire face is covered in pimples – there isn’t one square centimeter that is clear. on my cheeks, nose & chin there are a ton of smallish ones. on my forehead i have bigger ones & a few really red ones that are huge…i also have a few big ones & many smaller ones on my neck… & then my back is horrible. i have acne pretty much down my entire back, most of them huge, & i have a ton of brown scars, too. my acne is even starting to spread down my arms…
also, my skin is REALLY oily. like really really really oily. & i know youre not supposed to overwash your face, so i only wash mine twice per day (in the morning & at night). also, i know to pat it dry instead of scrubbing. but after only about two hours, my face gets really oily again – i can literally feel the grease building up on my face. & it gets even worse in the summer because of the heat.at the beginning of the school year, i dont think my face got greasy at all, but it started in like october. a couple months ago at the end of the school day my face would be extremely oily & shiny & disgusting. now its only slightly better because i use neutrogena oil removing wipes during break & lunch. however i have to use it every like 2 hours because my face just gets all oily again. i wear makeup, but not that much – its just foundation, a loose powder (not oil-based) i cannot live without it. im ugly enough with the foundation – you can see the hundreds of individual lumps all over my face, especially now that in the sunlight & the added shininess of my greasy face, but without the foundation, its a hundred times worse. each pimple is highlighted in red & stand out even more.
it gets me really depressed when i see all my friends & everyone at school – everyone has such clear skin! they literally have like no pimples at all. & the people who do arent really that noticeable – just a few here & there. but whenever i meet someone, they always stare at my face & it makes me feel bad even though i know its not on purpose. also, i cant wear anything like tank tops or spaghetti straps even though i like to & i look really good in them.if i did, id probably scare everyone away because of my horrible back & shoulder acne. not joking. also, since im in 8th grade, we have our “farewell dance” the beginning of june. i have this amazing dress, but it has thin straps & an empire waist & you can see my back (like as much as a camisole). i really want to wear it, but i cant because of my acne! i also really like this guy (who btw has really clear skin) – hes amazing, funny, nice, & smart, but hes never going to like me back because hes really pretty & i have horrible horrible acne. hes not superficial or anything, but who would ever go out with acne all over as bad as mine? i would actually be almost pretty with clear skin…
ive tried many acne treatments before – clean & clear, proactiv, epiduo… i started using epiduo a couple months ago, but it didnt get any better. ive stopped using it for about a week now, & i think my acne has gotten even worse (if thats possible) but i dont want to use it again because i dont want to get my skin addicted to it… also it makes my skin overly dry & flaky. another skin thing is i swim every day 3:30 to 5:30 so i think the chlorine affects my skin too – i always put on sunscreen though. at swim meets i put on sunscreen like five times per day but i still get super red & sunburnt, & it takes like a week for my burnt skin too finally peel off. another thing about swimming is when practice is over & we go to the locker room to shower, everyone looks perfect & pretty while i look like a total mess with my skin with a billion lumps. everyone else has perfect skin & you can see everything really clearly since we all wear swimsuits…
anyway, my parents dont want to take me to the dermatologist, & ive tried all i can to persuade them, but theyre just not going to. its because of the economy,so i dont blame them. but is there anything i can do myself? my diet is pretty healthy… & ive started trying to drink a lot of water because ive heard that helps. & ive heard something about toothpaste? does that help? anyway, anything that i could do by myself at home without buying any medication or supplies would be appreciated!!! im seriously getting kinda depressed… i would be so much prettier without acne… life would be so much easier… people wouldnt make fun of me behind my back when they think im not listening… it hurts a lot… i doubt anyone is actually reading this thing, but if someones out there, thank you for at least reading my story! please please help

So I have really dry skin, like flaky dry. I also have smallish red zits in the center of my forehead. I use Skin Id but it doesn’t seem to work too well & whenever I try to cover my acne with concealer (I use liquid concealer) it looks really bad because I’m so dry. So what is a good acne product that won’t dry out my skin, & a moisturizer that won’t cause zits. Or an acne healing moisturizer? Thanks!
