What is the difference? What type would you recommend to best hide acne?

im getting covergirl aquasmooth is that foundation or concealer?
im pretty sure its foundation,
and do you put on foundation or concealer first,(what goes on first)
will it cover up acne?
and are tere any concealers that dont feel oily & cakey?

I usually use MAC studio sculpt concealer with mac mineralize skinfinish natural over it, but sometimes I want a little more coverage on my fore head which is where i get most of my acne. & dont say that mac will break you out even more because there products dont. i want the coverage to look natural, kind of lol. thanks

I’m 14 & I’m looking for a good concealer & foundation. I’m similar to the shade of Tyra Banks. I have a lot of black heads & acne. But I don’t have enough money to go to some high end brand. Whats the best drugstore brand for concealer & foundation. Preferably a liquid foundation.

I have really small bumps on my forehead & 2 or 3 pimples on my forehead. I heard that Revlon ColorStay Liquid foundation works wonders, but I went to my nearest drugstore & tried one of the testers, & it seemed really.. liquidy? Does that actually cover everything up? I’d like any product under 20 dollars.
I don’t really shop at department stores, I shop at drugstores (Ottawa, Canada).

I have very oily skin with acne. I need a great foundion AND concealer from either mac or clinique. I’ll be going there tomorrow & need some ideas to suggest to the lady. And my skin tone is pretty fair. I wear a nuetral to fair in the powder I use now. Please help everyone, thanks!

I am looking for the perfect concealer & foundation…. anyone have any recommendations? I have a light medium skin tone, normal skin, & my biggest problems are bags & acne, & I am looking for something that will look natural & not cakey. I don’t care about cost!

I’ve been using the Tru Blend liquid concealer & powder foundation by Cover Girl, but it does’t blend very well. Also, I have acne on my forehead, & it doesn’t cover it completely. I need a makeup concealer & powder foundationg that COMPLETELY covers blemishes, & blends well. I’ve tried so many different concealers, & they all looked cakey :/ Any suggestions?! PLEASE HELP!!!

I’m a freshman in high school & I have a limited budget. I wanted to know what is the best concealer & foundation I can get for a relatively inexpensive price. I’m also debating on whether I should try mineral or liquid foundation. I’m not sure that mineral foundation would give me enough coverage but I want it to look natural & it has to last through long school days. I have slight acne, but not very much. Please help me, I’d really appreciate it.

alright i have a foundation brush & sponge
I also have neutrogena spot concealer
and some organic foundation crap
So the problem is in the morning its fine but by midday it looks streaky & cakey ugg. I apply sunscreen foundation concealer & then a translucent powder but it still doesnt help.
Can anyone help me please im just covering my post acne scars till they start to fade & the streaky cakyness doesnt help XP.

I want to get the concealer to cover blemishes & acne scars, but i dont want to use foundation with it. Is it okay to use it alone?

I’ve never worn concealer because Ive never had acne. But lately Ive been in the sun & I’m starting to get a little bit of pink on my cheeks. I want to use the concealer to even out the pink.
Should I get concealer that is 1 shade lighter than my foundation? Or should the concealer be the same color as the foundation?

i know that concealer covers up acne too, but im talking about just redness.

I like the MAC Studio Finish Concealer. It covers my acne very well. My favorite face powder from MAC is the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, it looks great & makes your skin look glowy.

at the moment im using dream matte mousse & maybelline coverstick & max factor creme puff pressed powder & it looks really cakey. i want it to look flawless without it looking flakey.

I have really bad acne scars & I have a hard time finding the right shade of makeup since my skin is so fair
I’d rather not wear foundation, unless there’s something that will cover them up & actually match my skin tone
I don’t want anything expensive either

-an item that i can buy at target or wal-mart
-and covers up redness well

I never had a problem with having acne scars until I got the depo provera & it was my WORST nightmare! I have never in my life had such a bad breakout & now that it’s gone ,aside from the ones Ive been getting since becoming pregnant, but there are only a few. But my question is since I have acne scars should I use a concealer underneath my foundation? I don’t have the deep acne scars that are like “craters” just surface.
