Concealer Answers

I have alot of huge pores & alot of scars & blemishes from acne. I want a good concealer or cover up that will cover it up. thank you

I don’t usually buy my make-up from drug stores so i’m not really familiar with the brands. I have very acne prone skin & I tend to break out depending on the product.

I am 16. I totally ran out of all my make-up. I am going to SEPHORA tonight. So I was wondering what are the best brand of…
eyeliner (all day wear & lower & upper lashline)
mascara (for volume & all day wear)
concealer ( all day wear & for acne)
foundation (all day wear & does not create breakouts)
are there any other products that i should get that people usually don’t think about? such as mineral veil or highlighter for eyebrows?
should i get mineral or liquid foundation?

I’ve acquired a bit of acne since I started using make up… I was using Maybelline Color Dream Mousse Concealer, Fair ; It working amazing but it made me,my sister & my mom all break out. My skin is healing back now but I still need a good concealer….any advice?

Which concealer covers all acne. blemishes, lines under eyes, is long lasting & is avaliable in a drugstore such as superdrug & boots? (if there is even is one!
If this is too difficult to match I am really looking for one which covers all types of acne & a different one of the other 2 thing i want!
so please suggest one or two concealers that help me acheive this

i was wondering if a foundation that matched my skin tone could be used as a concealer for acne. just the foundation itself; without a concealer over or under it.

I have acne prone, combination skin. I’ve been looking for a good concealer, but the ones I’ve tried previously either didn’t fully conceal my blemishes or didn’t stay on very long. I’ve heard good reviews about both concealers & I’m not really sure which one would be best for my skin. How have your experiences with either products been?

maybe u arent applying it right but u also have to use the right make up that gives u the right coverge …i also have some acne scaring i think u should se the concelear that is the shade of ur skin not the yellow one it doesnt work good i personally recomend maybelline concealer u can choose ur shade of skin i use light becuz im really light so thats a tip …hope i helped

I have large pores around my nose & on my nose. My skin is slightly oily & I don’t have much acne. Sometimes they just appear, but it’s not something that I don’t worry about a lot. However, I have like red sports around my nose & on my nose that looks as if I do have acne even though I don’t. Which do you suggest to use to hide this?

I’ve tried pretty much every drugstore brand & nothing works. I don’t mind spending a little more money if it works.

i use murad acne concealer,
i went to sephora & the lady recommended it for me, chose the color & everything..
it wasnt orange when she tried it out on my skin,
but now when i use it, its orange..
i only got it like a month ago,
and i didnt have much of a tan in summer at all,
so my skins not changing colors..
how can i make it less orange/prevent it from happening?

My acne isn’t that bad, just occasionally I get a few spots here & there. But I do have some pretty bad scars on my cheeks that I can’t seem to cover up! I’ve tried a few different kinds of foundation & concealer, but none of them seem to really cover anything up. I want something that will easily cover all my spots/scars without having to cake it on.. Soo what’s your favorite? I have dry/combination skin. thanks!

I have a few acne scars & dark spots on my cheeks & dark circle & surely concealer would do it’s job in concealing them but do I really need to wear foundation after that or I’d still look fine without it?

I was thinking of running to Walgreen’s real quick today & buying some (I don’t have time or money to get any makeup from Sephora tonight) but I need a concealer.
Has anyone tried it? I read reviews & it said it was good for skin with acne, which is what I have. Does it make you break out? What about oily skin, does it make it worse? Is it cakey?

I have been wearing makeup (foundation, powder, etc.) for years & just recently had to start using concealer. I have read many articles stating that you use the concealer first, followed by your foundation. I always use my concealer for the under eye area & for old acne scars, then apply my foundation which I apply with a sponge, then dust with a loose powder. Does anyone else do this or would doing it with concealer first make the “cover up” last longer?

I have concealer & blush & foundation etc…but everything I try just isnt working. I have washed my face with acne wash, tried to cover it was makeup (but my face just looked caked with makeup), & i even got concealer, although the blemish just shows through & there was no exact match to my skin tone, so i just try to rub in the concealer so it doesnt look so off color. Any tips to help??

I’m looking for a good foundation to matte my oily skin around my t-zone & a concealer to hide my under-eye circles (they’re not too dark) & also some small but very red acne marks. I haven’t tried much yet, since I have to buy my make-up with my own money & I don’t have tons of money to spare, but so far all the foundations/concealers I have tried look cakey on my skin & under my eyes, no matter how little I put on. I don’t want to have to go out & buy just about everything to find the ones that work, so please give me your advice!!!

picture day is tomorrow & school is starting next week [our picture day is before school starts] & i have a little acne. i asked my mom if i could wear concealer & she was like “your too young to wear concealer, it will mess up your face”. [i'm 13 & almost everyone in my school has been wearing makeup since like 6-7th grade. i started just to wear some blush & mascara in the beginning of the summer] i only want a little on the red spots. my mom isn’t the type of mom that understands how people at school will pick on you if you have the tiniest of acne. [i'm asian & my mom grew up in asia & was poor so she couldn't afford the things i have now & she didn't wear makeup until she was like 20.]
how can i convince my mom to let me wear some concealer for picture day & for school?
