There are types of face washes that may help with acne, oil, etc. You can try it, though it may no work. For acne scars? Well mederma & vitamin e oil or something helps with scars of all kinds. you can try those too!

I have acne on my forehead & need good ways to clear it ,
I don’t use any concealer or foundation on my forehead but have my bangs on it most of the day.
Any ideas or products i should use?

i used clean & clear acne spot treatment to remove a pimple between my eyes. the pimple eventually went away, but the acne product left a chemical burn on my skin. how do help my skin heal faster or remove this burn? i really don’t want it to scar especially since its on my face please help??

My acne isn’t bad on my forehead or left cheek but because I sleep on my side I get a group of about 6 pimples on my right cheek. They are mostly scars now & if I can get those to go away as soon as possible then my face will be pretty much clear. So can anyone give me tips on how to keep my skin clear (because Oxy burns my skin & I need something new) & how to get rid of acne scars quickly & naturally?

Also is clean & clear for women or men or both?

I was thinking of running to Walgreen’s real quick today & buying some (I don’t have time or money to get any makeup from Sephora tonight) but I need a concealer.
Has anyone tried it? I read reviews & it said it was good for skin with acne, which is what I have. Does it make you break out? What about oily skin, does it make it worse? Is it cakey?

What’s a way I can clear my chest acne quickly in a few hours? I don’t have money for store bought stuff. But Is there any topical things that will do the trick? Or if you know of any waterproof concealers (not storebought) that could help I’d appreciate it.

I just bought the Neutrogena SkinClearing pressed powder & liquid concealer tonight. They both contain acne medicine. I’m just wondering if anyone’s used them & they actually work.

I am thinking of buying the Revlon colorstay blemish concealer, but it says :
When using this product using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor; avoid contact with eyes
I dont want to increase irritation.
If i use the concealer, can I not use my cleanser, & vice versa?

Hi, I am a DIY person so I am always looking for homemade stuff instead of buying.
As a teenager I had acne. Like you never heard that .I waited to grow past teen-age years to get rid of acne. I learned it was caused by hormonal imbalances natural at that age.
I looked into the matter & I found out many natural home remedies for acne. Most of them will help your skin heal from the damage caused by your acne, but they won’t cure the acne.
But I didn’t give up. One theory that made sense to me is that you need to treat the internal problem causing acne. That is – hormonal imbalances, toxines etc..
How can you do that? – Primarily you must help the liver, the pancreas & the kidney.
I am currently using “Apple Cider Vinegar” which is a natural cure for acne.
Apple Cider Vinegar is an effective natural agent that cures acne by killing the bacteria & balancing our skin’s pH level (which is a measure of acidity). It also absorbs excessive oil from our skin, which is a leading cause of acne.
In the spring I will take a Dandelion cure.
Dandelion shuns wet places, it has two outstanding qualities: it is useful in disorders of the liver & of the gallbladder.
Dandelion & Stinging Nettle have a blood purifying effect. They aide the functions of the liver & the pancreas, thus reducing the hormonal imbalances in the body.
Infusion: 1 heaped tablespoon of roots is soaked in cold water overnight, brought to the boil & strained next day. This amount is apportionately sipped, half an hour before & half an hour after breakfast.
I also recommend a Nettle cure as an acne remedy.
- Wear gloves when handling fresh nettle plants.
- Remove leaves from stems & discard stems.
- Fill a teapot full of nettle leaves
- Pour boiling water over the leaves.
- Steep for 5 minutes.
- Add honey and/or lemon if desired & drink.
The tea will be somewhat bitter. However, it is quite nutritious an especially high in calcium.
Other quick homemade acne treatments I found to keep your skin clean:
1. Garlic is an excellent treatment for acne, in case you did not know. Just rub with a garlic clove cut in two over the acne, or cut into slivers a garlic clove & apply over acne with a plaster, leaving overnight to act;
2. Onion is a good apprentice in the fight against acne & its traces when it disappears. Make a puree with the blender & apply it as a facial mask once a week;
3. Lemon juice applied to skin helps to close pores, & to increase the brightness of skin;
4. Baking soda mixed with vegetal soap (preferably soap made only from olive oil or vegetable oil) is the best antibacterial scrub the skin;
5. Mixture of fine sea salt to whites of an egg is very good for sensitive skin attacked by acne. Apply as a mask & remove easily with circular movements;
6. Honey can be applied as a mask for acne skin;
7. Vinegar is a good tonic antiseptic for acne, acting very gentle if you mix in equal proportion with water or green tea;
8. Yogurt is very effective & safe for skin prone to acne. Apply directly from the jar, let it react 5-10 minutes, then rinse;
9. Cut a gauze circle about the size of the face, soak it in fresh made green tea (very hot but not boiling) & apply on face. Let dry & remove carefully;
10. Herbs such as echinacea, rosemary, dill & parsley are great for teas & infusions wich purify the skin.

As I said, my skin is dry rather than having oilly skin.
And I have minor acne I’d like to remove & have heard great things about both those products & am wondering which one is better for dry skin to help remove acne. thanks
