I’ve never been before, & my mom absolutely hates tanning in general, so wouldn’t exactly approve of the tanning bed idea. Hopefully 16 is old enough to not have to require parent permission?
And the goggles? I don’t want pale eyelids..

no! no! tanning ! your mom is right, period. she is thinking of you when she says no. put your mind on something else that won’t hurt you because going to a tanning salon most certainly will. not only will tanning cause you to get wrinkles, but could cause you to get cancer,i dont know if she went into the details behind her no. you are too young to start abusing your body. tanning tatooing & piercing are nothing more than fads, that if you dont think things through could cause problems down the line. listen to mom, she knows best & she loves you.

most places i’ve heard of require you to be 18 or else you need a parent signature.. & wearing goggles doesnt make your eyelids stand out from the rest of your face from my experience & ive been using a tanning bed for over a year, not religiously or anything though.
