What Makeup Is Good For Concealing Freckles That Have Turned Into Blotchy Brown Spots?
I am 38, over the years the freckles on my face, cheek areas only, look like they have all mushed together appearing somewhat blotchy. I would like to conceal it better without using too much foundation. I have fair skin. I like my freckles but not the patchy blotchy spots. I use Almay products, but it doesn’t really cover my problem spots. I do not want a product that makes me look like I caked on the makeup either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

what you need to use is a brand called krylon.. typically used for stage make up, its a german brand that good make up artists will use as its of a thicker consistency to normal foundation, so it covers freckles & age spots well.. it can be worn in everyday use & is water proof, so ensure u cleanse it off really well.. i dont know where you are located to suggest placed you can buy krylon.. but its definately the way to go

i have fair skin also & a few freckles, not really but i have like multi tonal skin & blemishes & tru blend powder foundation covers it wonderfully. i wear the “classic ivory” color. i have dry skin though so powder sometimes dries it out, so before i go to bed (after i take off my makeup) i put on nivea soft cream, & then my skin is soft & supple in the morning. & my foundation covers my flaws perfectly…try the trublend powder its amazing unlike any other covergirl product honestly.

You wanna get a good concealer. Foundation especially liquids arent made for deep coverage. You should go to your local department stores’ makeup counters & find a good concealer. They can also show you how to heighten coverage. I do it all the time for my clients. I work for MAC cosmetics & we have a good concealer. But the best thing about buying a concealer is that you can keep your foundation that you already have become comfortable with using & if you are not happy with your foundation. MAC has a great line of matte foundations that have a great coverage & smoothe finish.. Another suggestion is to get a cream to go on your skin before you apply your makeup this will make your makeup sit on top of your skin tone & not blend as much for a better finish & a more airbrushed professional look. Also it will give your skin more protection from harsh pollutants in the air. I reccomend a vitamin e cream. Vaseline has a good one. Good luck
