It depends on the scarring. If you have indentations or pitting, then you will have to go to a dermatologist. If you just want to fade hyperpigmentation (dark spots), then lemon juice works great. I have really light skin, & it works for me. Just rub fresh lemon juice over a clean face & let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse off. I do this a few times a week, just to keep my skin looking fresh. I do not use bottled lemon juice–only the juice from squeezed lemons. Be sure to keep the juice away from broken skin, because it will sting. Also avoid your eyebrows, so they don’t start changing colors.
